As LCD TV remains to be one of the major attractions at the exhibit, AUO will reveal its world's best specification 26" wide and 30" wide TFT-LCD panels on top of its latest 46" 16:9 dimensions HDTV panel. The company's latest product is impressively featured with high resolution (1920x1080), Premium MVA technology wide viewing angle with 85 degrees in all directions, high color saturation with EBU greater than 100% (72% NTSC), and widely respected as having the best qualifications of its kind with high brightness of 600 nits, high contrast ratio at 800:1, and super fast response time less than 12 ms, gray to gray.

Other great attractions are a 2.7" transflective TFT-LCD panel for smart phone application and a 1.5" panel that utilizes One-Chip Solution Technology providing additional space saving advantages. Other products in a wide range of sizes on show include applications for digital still camera (DSC), digital video camera (DVC), portable DVD , and car and airplane TV. For desktop monitor applications, on center stage is the company's latest 17" TFT-LCD panel, which contains the world's fastest response time ever at 12 ms. This latest self-challenged breakthrough surpasses AUO's own record setting achievement of 16 ms, attained back in 2H02. In the notebook PC application field, AUO will proudly display the world's first wide-format 12.1" LCD panel, and its 15.4" wide panel, which is in major market demand.
